Have you ever wondered if it is barely possible to travel the 7,107 islands of our country? If you attended the Manila International Travel Expo Series 2016 at the SMX Convention Center from September 22-24, 2016, then you must have realized that indeed, it is.

The recently held Manila leg of the ITE series brought together exhibitors which offers all kinds of travel needs. From hotel, resort, and serviced-apartment accommodations, international and domestic airlines, car rental companies and services, to travel insurance, credit card services and inbound/outbound travel operations, all these were available during the event, which the customers took advantage of. The exhibitors met ready buyers and were able to showcase their best deals, promos, and packages for both international and domestic tours. They also had the chance to interact with potential customers as they got to know their needs, what they were looking for.

As expected by the Department of Tourism, the country could meet the targeted six million arrivals and revenues of P300 billion, with all the up and rising destinations, accommodations and services available all over the country today. With a track record of 12,252 visitors for the Manila leg, the ITE series shows that the country, with its booming tourism industry, plays well along with other Asian countries. The Philippines’ growth drivers–better air access, new accommodation facilities and strengthened marketing and promotion strategies were all given attention to during the event. The ITE Series became the direct access of wanderlusts to the country’s finest and best travel essentials, given more than 5,000 tourist attractions to visit and discover.

During the event, some hotel accommodations even offered discounts and gift certificates to visitors. The Manila ITE Series was held coinciding with Beauty and Wellness Manila, Green Philippines 2016, and Hotel Suppliers Show.
